EUCLIDEAN GRAIN WEAVER

Catch a sound.
Let it find a way.

Scatterloom captures fragments of live audio and weaves them into evolving rhythmic phrases—structured by Euclidean geometry, guided by probability, and never quite repeating unless you want it to.

01 / LISTEN

A pattern with
a pulse of its own.

These are preview players. The final audio demonstrations will pair each dry source with its evolving Scatterloom output.

Audio samples will be added here as they are completed.

02 / THE WORKFLOW

From transient
to living pattern.

Scatterloom is designed as one continuous motion: capture what you play, shape the grain pool, establish a rhythmic frame, then decide how much freedom to give it.

01

CAPTURE & CURATE

Build a palette from the moment.

Transient-sensitive capture gathers up to nine recent grains while you play. Open the Grain Manager to import material, audition each fragment, remove what does not belong, and drag the rest into a new order.

  • Live transient capture
  • Import and audition samples
  • Reorder the active grain pool

EUCLIDEAN STRUCTURE

Give chance a strong frame.

Choose steps and pulses to distribute events as evenly as possible around the cycle. Rotate the pattern, change its timing division, and shape grain length, attack, start position, reverse chance, feedback, width, and mix.

  • Up to 32 steps with variable pulses
  • Manual and evolving rotation
  • Independent grain and loop feedback

MARKOV MEMORY

Shape what may happen next.

Every grain can influence the probability of the next. Draw transitions directly, bias entire destinations, remove repeats, or begin from musical presets—then let the chain evolve with a logic that stays readable and playable.

  • Direct 9 × 9 transition editing
  • Seven starting shapes and global bias
  • Audible, probability-led handoffs

Euclidean rhythm supplies the shape.

Markov chaining supplies the memory.

What emerges lives somewhere between repetition and surprise.
